For the last two years, I have been thinking a lot about new ways of interacting with web pages. I haven't found any awesome idea yet, but I think you might find some interesting things in the prototypes I developed.
Here are some of the projects I have been working on the last few years. These are only unfinished prototypes, demonstrating the global idea of one concept.
I did not go through the tinkering and publishing steps because most of these concepts need to be integrated in an existing website with sufficient visibility to have any chance of success. And let's face it, I prefer spending time looking for new ideas than wasting time on some specific idea!
If you want to discuss about one of these prototypes, you can email me at zebrian at gmail dot com :-)
This is an "endless scrollbar". It means that no matter how long you go up or down through these pictures, you will never encounter any end. The application automatically loads new content to fill up the gaps.
In this example, 5 pictures are shown randomly and repeatedly. But this idea could also be applied to other types of objects (members, articles...), and there is no need to use a random order.
Without the endless function, it could also be seen as an alternative to a complex pagination system :-)
